Why can't you just massage my baby? | Cache Valley Baby Massage

It would be convenient & easy for us to call a massage therapist and set up an appointment for our baby to feel all the benefits of massage. We love massages ourselves and we love our babies so why not right?

We're going to dig deeper than the obvious. Let me tell you more about baby massage.

There are so many benefits to massaging your baby, however, most of the significant benefits come from consistent massage and the intimate experience with the parent/caregiver.

Bond
One-on-one time
Oxytocin is released (love hormone)
Fathers ALSO produce this hormone
Secure attachment

Relaxation
Babies & parents feel more relaxed
Natural rewarding way to relieve stress from baby & parent
Decreases level of cortisol (stress hormone) in our bodies

Communication

children will be healthier and more secure in adulthood.
